MISSION
To support, empower, and equip (SEE) women in leadership and entrepreneurship, address the diverse needs of women-owned, mom-owned, and minority-owned businesses, fostering both economic resilience and overall growth across the PNW, and to provide a platform that serves as a network for women-owned, mom-owned, and minority-owned businesses particularly for mothers within PNW communities, focusing on the economic challenges faced by underserved mothers/women who are often overlooked by traditional business development organizations and financial institutions.
Our goal is to provide all mothers/women with the confidence and knowledge to turn their ideas into action and collaborate with both established and emerging women-owned, mom-owned, and minority-owned businesses to promote transformative and inclusive leadership and entrepreneurship support throughout the Pacific Northwest.

INTRODUCING THE WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER (WLEC)
The Women's Leadership and Entrepreneurial Center (WLEC) was created to support, empower, and equip (SEE) Women in leadership and entrepreneurship. Founded by members of Mompreneurs PNW, the WLEC also serves as a network for women and minority-owned businesses particularly for mothers within PNW communities, focusing on the economic challenges faced by underserved mothers/women who are often overlooked by traditional business development organizations and financial institutions.
Our initial focus was on providing all women with the confidence and knowledge to turn their ideas into action and collaborate with both established and emerging mom-owned businesses to promote transformative and inclusive leadership and entrepreneurship support throughout the Pacific Northwest. Women are twice as likely as men to start a business, and women of color are five times as likely. This diverse community of women and minority based mom-owned businesses, works to transform aspirations into income-generating ventures that impacts the Pacific Northwest regions. Research shows that investing in women entrepreneurs and mom-owned businesses not only boosts business revenues and creates more jobs but also improves family health, wellness, education, and overall community growth and prosperity.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Our leadership development program for women is designed to support, empower and equip women with the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to lead effectively in both business and community settings. Through a combination of workshops, mentorship, and hands-on experience, participants gain valuable insights into leadership development, decision-making, and overcoming challenges, while building a supportive network of like-minded women. The program aims to foster inclusive, transformative leadership that drives personal and professional growth.

The program fosters a supportive community of women entrepreneurs, helping them build confidence, grow their ventures, and thrive in the business world.
